This facility provides information about places which have a connection with Charles Dodgson. It is intended for anyone wanting to visit such places, see where Dodgson lived, worked, preached, etc. We have also included a number of 'sights' such as sculptures and memorials and tried to add supplementary information for researchers, writers and presenters.

In the Footsteps	explores Dodgson’s walking activities giving routes and an overview of this aspect of his life.

The data has been compiled from a number of sources and as a result of extensive on-going research by Catherine Richards and other scholars. Considerable use has been made of Lewis Carroll’s England by Charlie Lovett (published by the Lewis Carroll Society in 1998) and the privately published In the Footsteps of Lewis Carroll by Roger Scowen. Information and sections of text from both of these have been used with permission and remain the copyright of the authors.
